SAT Mathematics Total Group (n = 110)

During the 2016-17 school year, 110 juniors at McHenry Community High School in Illinois participated in ZAPS to prepare for the SAT. Their SAT Math Pre-Test scores averaged 516.5 (out of 800 possible) before ZAPS training. After ZAPS, their SAT Math scores increased by an average of 23.1 points to 539.6.

SAT Math Higher-Performing Group (n = 68)

Sixty-eight (68) McHenry Community High School juniors scored 500 or better on the SAT Math Pre-Test. After participating in ZAPS, their SAT Math scores increased by an average of 18.4 points.

SAT Math Lower-Performing Group (n = 42)

Forty-two (42) McHenry Community High School juniors scored below 500 on the SAT Math Pre-Test. After participating in ZAPS, their scores increased by an average of 30.7 points.
